A leap of faith, that’s what this journey is. We are putting it all on the line, we are selling everything, we are downsizing to .5% of what we own, and we are moving into our travel trailer (maybe 150sq ft). We will be taking the approach of unschooling our children which will allow them to choose areas they would like to focus on. (Don’t worry Mom the basics of reading, writing, and arithmetics will be there every day) we will dig deep into the local history if the areas where we spend time and we will stay true to our lifestyle of low media. Just like everything we do we will go big, we will be amazing, and it will be the journey of a lifetime.

Our story will begin at The Great Divide in Newton, NJ for this summer of 2019. We decided to start stationary for the summer season for a few reasons. First, it is close to our family, this will allow us to ease into the leaving process. Second we are close enough to home where we can travel back and forth in the clean out/sell the house process. Third, being stationary for the first few months will allow us to figure out the kinks of living in an RV, so the pipes leak, is the electric working, what do we actually need to live?

All of this is scary, it’s a risk, but it is truly a Leap of Faith in our ability to live, school, and enjoy our life today because you never know what tomorrow brings. Kind of like these frogs minding their own business until my children scooped them up and made head pieces…
